Ear Surgery, also known as Otoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure that can change the shape or position of the ears. The most common reason that patients choose otoplasty is due to their ears significantly protruding from their head. Some people refer to this deformity as "Dumbo ears."
Although Otoplasty is the most common ear surgery, surgery can be performed for multiple types of ear deformities-congenital, traumatic and earlobe repair.
All ear surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and some kind even be performed in the office.
