Gender: Female
Age: 37
This is a 37-year-old female who was diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma of the Left Breast. She started chemotherapy upon diagnosis, and planned to do a bilateral mastectomy once chemo was finished. She came to see Dr. Hunsicker for a consultation to determine which reconstruction option might be best for her as part of her bilateral mastectomy. She was a 34C cup before having children and wanted to be a B-cup after reconstruction. She decided to do direct-to-implant, immediate reconstruction. At her 6 month post-op visit she articulated concerns of loss of upper-pole fullness post-mastectomy, and she inquired about fat grafting to fill in the upper chest areas. She underwent bilateral fat transfer to upper breasts. These photos were taken at her 1 year follow-up visit, after she also underwent 3D micropigmentation/tattooing of the Nipple Areolar Complexes.
