Doctor's Comments

This was a 41-year-old woman who was diagnosed with Right side infiltrating ductal carcinoma and planned to undergo bilateral mastectomies. She was a 38D-cup prior to surgery and was hoping to go slightly smaller with her reconstruction. In her case, she had a bilateral skin-sparing bilateral mastectomies and direct-to-implant reconstruction using Silicone Cohesive Gel implants. Nipple reconstruction was performed as part of the immediate reconstruction at time of mastectomy by regrafting the patient's own nipples. These After photos were taken 6-months post-operatively.
